As a child, Dutch inventor and designer Sybren Jelles loved playing with toy cars. Preferably outdoors, with the wind in his hair. After seeing that his son Joep had inherited that passion, he invented waytoplay in 2003. Officially founded in 2014, Sybren now works with a state-of-the-art manufacturer in Germany to produce the unbreakable, weatherproof road set that is inspiring children the world over. Waytoplay’s puzzle-like road segments offer children the flexibility to make up their own road, encouraging inventiveness, problem solving skills and creativity. All the road pieces are sourced, made and shaped in Germany from 100% child safe and durable PVC that conform to the highest American and European standards.
